TJM Heating is a London-based plumbing and heating business led by Tom Marshall, covering Essex, Kent, London and Suffolk. With over ten years on the tools and a growing reputation, the existing online presence no longer matched the quality of the work or the warmth of the people behind it.
Ilex was brought in to design and build a bespoke website that puts trust first, using rich imagery, a tight monochrome palette with a signature orange, clear service pathways and live social proof to turn visitors into booked jobs.

The challenge
TJM needed a site that felt trustworthy and brought across their years of trusted work, while also creating something interactive, premium and unmistakably theirs.
The site had to win over cautious homeowners, landlords and busy WhatsApp-first customers, all while ranking for high-intent local searches across four counties.

We built a hand-coded site structured around how people choose a heating engineer: by service, area and reputation. Service tiles, a live reviews wall, an interactive coverage map and sticky WhatsApp CTAs guide visitors straight to enquiry.
Under the hood, a fast static front-end, local-business schema and clean SEO foundations keep TJM climbing across the South East.
